A family retreat in the heart of Alta Valtellina
Located in the mountains, in Alta Valtellina, at about 940 metres above sea level, our house is located in the historic centre of the Municipality of Sondalo (4,000 inhabitants), in Via Garibaldi, 29. It is the ideal starting point to visit the main tourist resorts in the area, such as Bormio, Livigno and many others. Our family consists of: Umberto, Caterina and Nicolas, with the little dog Stellina and the cocoriti!
The flavour of a bygone era
Our house, a perfectly renovated former convent, is comfortable and has kept the memories of the past intact. Inside, it preserves a fresco by the 1500s painter Giovannino da Sondalo. Furnished with family furniture that tells stories of life and ancient crafts, the house reflects our commitment to the environment, offering natural materials, organic soaps, pure regenerated wool mattresses (on request), and linens in pure linen and cotton.
