A legacy of love
Our history has its roots in a former convent purchased by our great-grandfather Gino and passed down through generations. His great-grandfather, in addition to working as a waiter in Saint Moritz (he walked there for two days), together with his great-grandmother Gina, had run a historic bar in the country for almost 40 years. After many sacrifices and work, they managed to buy the house in Via Garibaldi 29 in Sondalo. Every detail of the house reflects the beauty and authenticity of the past: period furniture, natural fabrics and handmade embroidery, symbols of a living and present past. In July 2024, our family decided to move from the city to Valtellina to honor the work of our grandparents and share with guests the beauty of the house and the mountains, keeping the rhythms, colors and atmospheres of the past intact.
Thanks to the support of many friends and our love for traditions, the holiday home “Come una volta” was born, ready to welcome you in a warm and sincere atmosphere.
